Taken while travelling through Europe, I tried to give attention to those I passed by, to create photos in which their anonymity was felt—encompassing both a sense of strangeness and familiarity.

Consisting primarily of people in cities I was interested in the idea of these spaces as a lived, contested commons that shapes perception and social interaction.
